Reference is made to the letter from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) dated 3 October 2024 pertaining to the sharp fall in price of Pertama Digital Berhad (“Pertama” or “Company”) recently (“trading activity”).

After having made due enquiry with the Board of Directors (“Board”), major shareholders of the Company and such other relevant persons, the Company’s reply to the query by Bursa Securities are as follows:-

1. Corporate Development:

We are not aware of any corporate development relating to our Group's business and affairs that has not been previously announced which may account for the recent trading activity, including those at the stage of negotiation or discussion. The information detailed in our press release dated 3 October 2024 was released after the recent unusual trading activity and was not previously undisclosed.

2. Rumours or Reports:

We are not aware of any rumours or reports concerning the business and affairs of the Group that may account for the trading activity, other than the information we have disclosed in our recent press release dated 3 October 2024. We are committed to complying with Paragraphs 9.09 and 9.10 of Bursa Securities Listing Requirements by providing accurate and timely information to the market.

3. Other Possible Explanations:

We are not aware of any other possible explanation to account for the trading activity.

4. Compliance with Bursa Securities LR:

We confirm that we are in compliance with the Bursa Securities Listing Requirements, particularly Paragraph 9.03 on immediate disclosure obligations. We have taken steps to ensure all material information is disclosed promptly to Bursa Malaysia and our investors.
