| Working experience and occupation | Dato' Ts Dr Suhazimah Binti Dzazali ("Dato' Suhazimah") retired on 1 October 2020 after almost 35 years in public service, last holding the post of Deputy Director-General (ICT) / Government Chief Information Officer (GCIO), in the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU), Prime Ministers Department, since August 2014. She was previously the Public Sector ICT Consultant (Information Security Management) and was responsible for several transformative programmes in the Malaysian Government including the computerisation and modernisation of the Immigration Department. Dato' Suhazimah was instrumental in in-house formulation of the Public Sector ICT Strategic Plan 2016-2020 and the more recent Public Sector Digitalisation Strategic Plan 2021-2025. Some of the significant achievements of the former strategic plan implementation are the establishment of the Public Sector Private Data Centres and Cloud Services; Malaysia Government Data Exchange Platform; Government Online Services Gateway; Digital Document Management Services; and the increase of open source adoptions for in-house system developments. Dato' Suhazimah has been recognised as among the Worlds 100 Most Influential People in Digital Government 2019 (by the entrepreneur-government cooperation platform Apolitical) and as the Information Security Professional of the Year 2013 (by Cyber Security Malaysia - Awards, Conference & Exhibition). Dato' Suhazimah is much sought after in Malaysias technology and digital space. | Dato' Suhazimah was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company on 11 November 2020. Article 100 of the Company's Constitution states that every director appointed shall hold office only until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting unless is re-elected. As the appointment of Dato' Suhazimah only took place after the notice of the 36th Annual General Meeting ("AGM") was sent out to the shareholders, her re-election as director was not in the Agenda of the AGM. Thus, pursuant to the operation of Article 100 of the Company's Constitution, Dato' Suhazimah has accordingly retired at the conclusion of the AGM held on 8 December 2020. The Board of Directors has passed a resolution to re-appoint Dato' Suhazimah as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company immediately after the conclusion of the AGM. |
